Zach Roloff Reacts to Amy Roloff’s Engagement on ‘Little People, Big World’
This week, Few people, big world viewers were delighted to watch Amy Roloff spread it and Chris Marek of news engagement.
While the proposal was super sweet, Amy received mixed reactions when she spoke to her family. Amy’s son Zach Roloff was particularly shocked when she stopped by hers and Tori RoloffAt home to show off her heart-shaped diamond ring.
- In the last episode of Few people, big world, Amy Roloff spoke to her son Zach about her engagement.
- Zach was shocked by the news and revealed that he had previously asked his parents to tell him about any new relationships outside the camera.
- Amy dated Chris Marek for three years before the pair got engaged in September 2019.
“I’m engaged,” said Amy. “Chris proposed to me yesterday for our third anniversary.” After seeing the stunned reaction of her son and daughter-in-law, Amy said, “Well, you’re shocked.”
And the awkward silence that followed was almost unbearable. As Amy tried to figure out what her 29 year old son was thinking, she admitted that she was both surprised and not surprised. On the one hand, she knew it was “literally a shock”. Yet, at the same time, she “thought he would at least be congratulating.”
Although Zach has no words for the matriarch Roloff, he later revealed that he did speak to Amy and his father, Matt Roloff, years before. His only request was that any news on the relationship be shared off-camera and in private.
“I said to my mom and dad,” Hey, [this is one thing] I don’t want to talk about the camera, my only limit is the relationship of your guys and if that relationship goes elsewhere beyond what it is now, “he said. “I don’t want to be surprised by news of these camera relationships. And then she went to the camera and surprised me with this news. “
He continued: “We did this [show] for 15 years, and I have shown some of the hardest and most difficult times of my life. There was just one thing all this time that I asked my parents to do with me privately and my mom couldn’t remember. It’s like, no, I can’t stand this. “
After watching Zach’s reaction to Amy’s engagement, fans went to the YouTube comments section with differing opinions.
“I certainly should have told him off camera, it’s a private thing,” wrote one. “I agree that everything should not be public … first the family and then the public,” added another. “I was sorry for Amy. This [was] his moment, “said another fan. “Damn, she’s been going out with the guy for 3 years … why is it so shocking?” wrote a spectator.
Whether you feel for Amy or Zach (or both!) On this subject, we hope the two are better placed now.
