The Chiefs have been in the Hunt family since the team started. Subsequently, he played in the AFL. Oil tycoon HL Hunt, Clark’s grandfather, transformed the family business into an empire. A gambler, HL converted his final $ 100 into a win at $ 100,000. He then used them to purchase properties that eventually led to the discovery of the East Texas Oil Field, one of the world’s largest oil reserves.

HL’s son Lamar (Clarke’s father) was one of the co-founders of the American Football League – he is also the man behind the “Super Bowl” name. The AFC Championship trophy is named after Lamar Hunt, so Clarke won an award in honor of his father.

Lamar founded the Dallas Texans in 1960. Within three years, he moved to Kansas City and renamed the team.

Lamar also made Major League Soccer, as well as the North American Soccer League. Additionally, he co-founded World Championship Tennis. Lamar died in 2006, and Clark has since been in charge of the chiefs.

Clark Hunt was born on February 19, 1965 in Dallas. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1987 at the top of his class in business school. Upon graduation, he worked at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker. After just two years, he moved back to Dallas to work for his dad. A year before Lamar’s death, he had given control of the Hunt Sports Group to Clark, who had recently turned 40.

In addition to the chiefs, Hunt Sports Group owns FC Dallas. He previously had stakes in the Chicago Bulls and the Columbus Crew. The family sports empire is over $ 3 billion, with Clarke’s personal net worth of about $ 2 billion.

Collectively, the Hunt family is valued at approximately $ 16 billion. His extended family is one of the richest families in the world. And thanks to the 15 children chosen by the three wives as patriarch HL Hunt, the family is extremely extended.

You probably know someone is having a hard time separating their work and home life. Clarke and his wife Tevia incarnate that – the couple and their three children have a six-bedroom apartment above the owner’s box at Arrowhead Stadium. He also has a home in Dallas.

Prior to previous years’ victories, the majors had not won the Super Bowl, as Clarke was just four years old.
