Holi colour stain on your favourite clothes? 8 ways to remove at home

The quicker you tackle a Holi stain, the easier it will be to remove. Rinse the area with cool water as soon as possible to loosen any loose colour powder.

Baking soda

Make a paste of baking soda and water. Apply the paste directly to the stain and let it sit. Baking soda can help absorb and lift colour pigments.

For natural colored fabrics, the acidic properties of lemon juice can be effective. Squeeze some fresh lemon juice on the stain and let it sit.

White vinegar is another natural stain remover. Mix equal parts white vinegar and water, and soak the stained area for about 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
