If you are looking to shorten your wedding and opt for something more personal, then today’s Cactus Garden Wedding Inspiration is for you. The shooting took place this July in Walnut Creek, California and is truly a beauty. Simple and joint-fussy still with bright flowers full of joy, delicious looking cakes, amazing tablescape and of course this beautiful couple. The summer desert sunlight really adds to the shoot and makes all the colors pop. Many thanks to Let’s Spread Beauty Photography and Design to Kateley, who presented the shoots and worked so hard with her group of talented suppliers.
Kelly Photographer Tells Us More About Shooting
The couple shows love and style. Cactus garden with a barn door barn for the sweetheart table, vibrant floral and modern cakes are a perfect fit.
We were all inspired by the natural beauty that the bride has for this beautiful elopement style shoot. She was truly the first piece of inspiration. Her gorgeous curly hairstyles set the tone for a very natural and slightly elevated organic vibe. We knew that we wanted to include colors that would pair well with the setting while still the tan would stand against the dirt and greenery and make a receipt at the venue. When we first saw Ruth Bancroft, I was taken aback by how everything flows naturally and beautifully and is maintained without manicuring. This aesthetic inspired the look of the flowers and maintained the same organic flow while they were still looking at the beautiful creation. The muted shades of mustard, orange, peach and coral set the tone for this color scheme, knowing that they would admire the surroundings of the gardens even while standing outside. The odd flow that hung above the bride and groom was definitely made the focal point of the day, keeping the majority of the flowers simple in design.
The overall style was to fit the bridal gown as well, with an elevated natural and organic vibe. The gown he wore was the first gown I saw and I knew it would be perfect. The gown with its croquetate details felt a bit bohemian to me and a slight ruffle effect from the blurred material it was made of; Something in befitting much of a natural lush garden regeneration!
