Claire is reluctant to report Janet

At breakfast, while Florent is enthusiastic about the idea of visiting new houses, Claire is sullen. At his insistence, she ends up admitting to him that she discovered a strange penicillin prescription signed by Janet in the file of Karine Bouvier, their patient who died of anaphylactic shock.

Claire does not understand why her boss was able to prescribe antibiotics when she was unaware of Karine’s history of allergies, given that it was her first operation. Florent encourages her not to keep it all to herself and to speak directly to Janet about it.

Following his advice, Claire goes to Doctor Lewis’ office, and confesses to him having seen the prescription in his file open on his desk. Taken aback, Janet assures her that she never prescribed penicillin to Karine, but Claire maintains that the prescription was signed by her hand, and that she could have made a medical error under the influence of fatigue.

Shocked by such accusations, Janet curtly takes leave of Claire. Distraught, the nurse asks her colleague Hélène for advice: should she testify to what she saw if it is indeed a concealment of evidence? Hélène then suggests that he talk to management about it, and assures him of her support. But Claire rather wants to talk to Karine’s mother, to whom she feels she owes the truth about what could have caused her daughter’s death. Hélène warns her, as this risks putting her in conflict with Doctor Lewis.

But the nurse cannot keep this information to herself, and decides to contact Claudine, the lawyer commissioned by Karine’s mother. She reveals to him that she discovered the penicillin prescription signed by Janet, but Janet denies having made it. According to her, this could have caused a reaction that led to Karine’s death, because it was her first operation and the hospital was unaware of her allergic history.

Claudine asks her if she would be ready to testify against her superior because her statement would be the only way to find the missing prescription. Hesitantly, Claire finally accepts. Faced with the seriousness of the accusation for medical malpractice brought by the mother of Karine Bouvier, the prosecutor Bernier seized the examining magistrate, Cécile Alphand. He informs her that Claudine Becker is in charge of the file, and that she won’t let go…

David, Lucille and Mo are questioned by the police

In the interrogation room, then that Mo is about to crack, fearing that the opening of a criminal record will compromise his career at national education, Yann is called in for reinforcement by Alex following a suspicion of burglary during the night.

Arrived on the spot, they arrest two burglars with their hands in the bag when they had just broken into a house to steal cash and jewelry. Having now found the presumed perpetrators of the pensioner’s burglary, Yann is forced to release Lucille, Mo and David at the end of their police custody.

If all three are relieved to get away with it without consequences, they still don’t know who the author of the theft is, and what could have happened to them that night; and they are also unaware that someone has claimed the stolen money, as the police are one step ahead of them.

Back home, Mo is happy to find Inès, who harasses her with questions about her time at the post. Enric offers to discuss it over coffee, but Mo, still embarrassed in front of him following his attack the day before, dodges his request because she has to go to school.

For her part, Lucille thanks Master Levars for having advised her to plead total amnesia. Back home, she meets Akim who has come to hear from her, because her colleagues prevented her from communicating with her during her police custody and from having information on what she was accused of.

Akim blames himself for having come to this in their relationship. He then confesses to her that it doesn’t matter whether she cheated on her or not, and that he just wants to move on with her now. Relieved, Lucille asks him to take her in his arms.
