Supreme appoints new creative director
Tremaine Emory is Supreme’s new creative director. The designer has previously worked with New Balance, Levi’s, the late Virgil Abloh and founded Denim Tears. He will continue to work with his brand in collaboration with the streetwear brand.
It “officially began this week, marking the first major appointment since the streetwear brand was acquired by VF Corp for $2.1 billion in 2020,” the company said. His first drop will be for the FW22 collection, which he will oversee.

Bottega Veneta relaunches BUTT magazine
BUTT Magazine is back after almost a decade, thanks to Bottega Veneta. In exclusive partnership with the designer, the magazine will explore queer exploration, sexual freedom and communities. The brand will hold a three-day installation project at the Palais de Tokyo to celebrate the launch.
“BUTT’s candid intergenerational dialogues about contemporary life and love have been sorely missed over the past decade. In issue 30, we ogle French film actor Félix Maritaud and catch up with queen of gay hair Holli Smith,” the brand said in a statement “It includes poetry and diaries, the work of artists Ajamu X and Sunil Gupta, and a super romantic cover by friend and LA photographer Clifford Prince King.”

NYFW’s Biggest Moments
NYFW has come to an end and there have been a lot of highlights. The week was filled with exciting and innovative shows from a mix of designers. Many brands, such as Michael Kors, have decided to keep their collections slightly understated, taking inspiration from the city’s nightlife and classic clothing. Marc Jacobs closed the week with an array of skirts, crop tops and dresses created using puffer fabric, delicately placed strips of fabric and a black and white palette.
Although many designers did not attend for the week, some of the headlines included a tile-themed show by Thom Browne, monochrome power suits by Sergio Hudson and a dynamic collection of pieces by Carolina Herrera. Fashion’s newest star, Julia Fox, made her runway debut for LaQuan Smith, sporting a bodycon black cutout dress and daring eye makeup. Coach presented its FW22 show in the suburbs – the collection was “a love letter to somewhere in America”.

Tiffany & Co. collaborates with Daniel Arsham
Tiffany & Co collaborates with New York-based contemporary artist Daniel Arsham for a limited-edition NBA basketball. The ball, created in collaboration with Wilson, is available in the iconic Tiffany Blue and sells for $575. This isn’t the first time the brand has celebrated the world of sport; For 160 years, the jewelry brand has been developing and creating trophies for the NBA Finals.
