Top 16 Glee Actors Before vs Now They Grown Up These Little Ones

You’re there, quietly, watching one of the TV series from our childhood, when suddenly BAM! You finish the last season and you find yourself 10 years later wondering about the fates of the actors of Grand Galop and watching the news of the actors of Glee to see what happened during this space-time. Obviously, after, you cry with hot tears, because you have just realized that it means that you too, took 10 years in the mouth. Ouch.

1. Lea Michele (Rachel)

The pick-me girl Rachel, or should I say Lea Michele, hasn’t changed too much: she still makes music, still plays in TV series and musicals, but above all is still a real diva who poisons life of its collaborators. There are things that don’t move.

2. Chris Colfer (Kurt)

The first member of our fav LGBT couple (Blurt forever) is now the author of the entire Le Pays des Tales series of books, although he continued to star in a few productions after Glee. His novels are also being adapted and he has also written a few screenplays. In short, everything is going well for him.

3. Kevin McHale (Artie)

The funniest character in the series (yes, yes, everyone has their own tastes), recently took part in the special celebrity special RuPaul’s Drag race where he went to the final. He also hosts a podcast with the interpreter of Tina, Jenna Ushkowitz, where they tell the underside of the six seasons of Glee. Yeah, he didn’t pick up at all.

4. Amber Riley (Mercedes)

You want diva, here it is! Even if Amber Riley hasn’t done much since she played one of King Triton’s daughters in The Little Mermaid Musical in 2019. A little music, podcasts… Nothing too fancy, unfortunately.

5. Heather Morris (Brittany)

Our pref teu-teu has evolved a little too: she is now a mother and gives dance lessons. Good after, I’m not going to lie, cinema level, it’s not too much: the last time she played in a series, it was to interpret an extra in Glow.

6. Dianna Agron (Quinn)

Quinn’s interpreter is still as beautiful as ever and I’m very jealous of her, that’s it. Go next.

7. Darren Criss (Blaine)

The other member of our fav LBGT couple (hope you followed) has continued in film and TV, having been seen in several episodes of American Horror Story, Rick and Morty and the Hollywood miniseries. He also continued in music, releasing a special Christmas album in 2021 called “A Very Darren Crissmas” (who wants to listen to it while eating foie gras? I offer it to you with pleasure). But Darren Criss is mostly fresh Daron, and it breaks my heart because this kid isn’t mine.

8. Chord Overstreet (Sam)

Hang your seat belts: the interpreter of Sam is today showing the new Christmas film Falling for Christmas with Lindsay Lohan. And I know you really want to watch it at a sleepover with your crush. We can fix that.

9. Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina)

We said it above (but you don’t listen to anything, again), Jenna Ushkowitz hosts a podcast with her former playing partner Kevin McHale. But other than that, well, she hasn’t done much since Glee. She also participated in the second season of RuPaul’s Dragrace special celebrities and had a baby girl in June 2022.

10. Harry Shum Jr (Mike)

Arguably, out of all the actors on Glee, Harry Shum Jr is one of those who have handled the pursuit of their career the best. He recently joined Season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy after playing Magnus Bane in Shadowhunters but most importantly playing Chad in Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert’s incredible film Everything Everywhere All At Once. In a word: “Congratulations Harry” (that’s two, but he deserves it).

11. Jayma Mays (Emma)

The actress who played school counselor at McKinley High School has deserted social media and stardom. We didn’t hear from her again after she played Debbie in The Millers and Carol Ann Keane in Trial & Error in 2018. It’s a shame but listen, I believe that life must follow its course as said Charles de Gaulle at the international tattoo show, not long ago.

12. Matthew Morrison (Will)

Our love for Will may not have changed, but Matthew Morrison has. He starred in a few series like The Good Wife (Connor Fox), Grey’s Anatomy (Dr Paul Stadler) and American Horror Story: 1984 (Trevor Kirchner). But he’s also a happy dad, too, and that’s all that matters to us: his happiness (even if it’s far from us).

13. Jane Lynch (Sue)

The villainous Sue also continued her career in the cinema, but rather for an abundance of small roles. For example, she played the voice of Sergeant Calhoun in the cartoon The Worlds of Ralph and interpreted Sazz Pataki in the recent series Only Murders in the Building alongside Selena Gomez. She also gives a few concerts but personally, I would prefer to listen to Crazy Frog on repeat for 10 hours.

14. Cory Monteith (Finn)

You started crying thinking about your age, now you’re going to cry remembering this painful episode. In 2013, Cory Monteith, who was still dating Lea Michele at the time, was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room. It turned out that he had overdosed by mixing alcohol and drugs. And if we weren’t already well with this horrible news, the Finn tribute episode in season 5 has finished us off. Too many tears were shed that day.

15. Naya Rivera (Santana)

Yes, as you probably know, Glee is a cursed TV series, which means that Cory Monteith is not the only actor to have lost his life. Naya Rivera also died trying to save her son from drowning after he fell from the boat they were on during a walk on a lake on July 8, 2020. We cried a lot.

16. Mark Salling (Puck)

Once is not custom, the interpreter of Noah is also deceased, but this time because he killed himself. Mark Salling committed suicide in 2018, while he was awaiting his judgment for possession of child pornography, a judgment which was to be rendered two months after his death.
