For the Victoires de la musique 2022 evening, we had to mention the great Nicoletta.
And for the rest, we expected a (very) long evening, with moments of grace and awkward moments. As per usual. But this year, it was Stromae the president and that alone is class. If he could show up in May, that would be nice too. And otherwise it was Laury Thilleman and the fabulous Olivier Minne who presented. There’s one of the two that we’re so happy to see, we’ll let you guess which one.

Stromae in cartoon which gives the instructions of the evening: IT’S YES.
A perfect introduction, followed by the necessarily perfect performance of the Belgian sponsor of this edition.
A perfect start to the ceremony! Respond to the NRJ Music Awkward.
2. The charm of Olivier Minne
So ok Laury Thilleman is superb, Miss France obliges.
But sorry: let’s talk about Olivier Minne who gets a little sexier every year.
Is the sequence Stromae – Olivier Minne – Angèle-Damso to kill us?
Too much beauty, too much talent in ten minutes. So this is paradise??
Victory for audiovisual creation for the documentary by Orelsan and his brother: “Never show that to anyone” which was released last year on Prime Video. Behind the scenes of the musical rise of Orel and his friends. A brilliant idea and an incredible result.
Of absolute logic, all those who have seen it will understand the reward. And if you haven’t seen it, go for it!
5. Victory of Honor…
“Let’s just play the puppet, you might as well do it well. »
Rarely Victory of Honor has been so well deserved. Dutronc is an absolute legend of French song, even worldwide. He influenced thousands of artists, composed marvels (“Le petit Jardin” in mind), made timeless hits (“J’aime les filles”), got politically wet (“L’opportuniste”), makes 5 generations dance minimum.
A giant. A real giant.
Thank you for everything Jack.
6. Well done Indochina!
Very nice live performance by Nicolas Sirkis.
On the other hand, it was a little more rock before, but it’s still nice.
7. The flop of the year…
“We are delighted to welcome the Minister of Culture: Roselyne Bachelot. »
And there: not ONE applause. NOT ONE.
8. Juliette Armanet’s performance
We love Juliette Armanet.
And his performance on “The Last Day of Disco” was INCREDIBLE. We literally danced in front of the TV.
9. And two!
And the male artist of the year is … Orelsan.
Without too many surprises, the Caennais won everything. And given the success and quality of his latest album, nothing could be more normal.
10. The Slap
Ladies and gentlemen: Hoshi.
Performance of the evening.
11. And the female artist is…
Again, the logic is respected and we are too happy because we love it. Simply.
We hope this is the first of a long series.
12. And three!
Song of the year for King Orel.
That’s a lot there, right?
13. It’s hard…
Orelsan has won more Victories than Laury Thilleman has launched.
It’s cruel but the statistics are real.
SCH comes to collect its Victory for the most streamed album of the year. And his first words: “I am embarrassed to hold this Victory in my hands”
Hyper class, he takes the opportunity to quote a good score of rappers absent from the ceremony while they are among the most listened to artists of the year. A usual under-representation in this ceremony, but which is a bit tiring.
So thank you and congratulations to the S who represented everyone with dignity. A brother.
We love “The Empress” but it’s going to be hard to get this image out of our heads.
Right when you go to sleep and more.
Thus ends “The Victories of Music”.
A rather nice ceremony with lots of live performances. We will remember the raid of Orelsan and Clara Luciani, the performance of Hoshi and Juliette Armanet, the speech of SCH and in less positive, the horrible animation and the lack of representation of rap in general.
Can’t wait for next year, and don’t forget to go see concerts please.
