The Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL were discontinued last October and are available from almost all smartphone retailers. Our review team had great things to say about the fast performance, superb OLED display, and solid camera module (despite the notable lack of a wide-angle lens, which will hopefully be corrected with the Pixel 5), but the Pixel 4 didn’t do the wheel either new to invent. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but since the Pixel 4 – while it’s certainly a great phone – isn’t quite the upgrade we wanted, you’ll have to decide for yourself whether it’s worth buying a new one with the upcoming Pixel 5 these Fall down the pipe. The Pixel 4a is simply a better price right now if you’re buying a new device.

However, if you need one of the newer flagship Android devices, you can do much, much worse than the Pixel 4, although the best way to get a deal right now is likely with carrier discounts and signing up. Offers for new customers. That said, we’ll keep our list updated with the latest Google Pixel 4 deals, and there’s no denying that if you get a discount on one, it will during the larger seasonal sales.

The third generation Pixel smartphones were released last fall and have quickly carved out a top spot among our favorite Android phones. In fact, the Google Pixel 3 and its bigger sibling, the Pixel 3XL, are in the running for the best Androids of 2018 due to their vibrant touchscreens, fast hardware performance, and super-fast software interface – after all, albeit the Android operating system is your tool of choice . Then it probably doesn’t get much better than a device from the company that wrote the book on that mobile operating system in the first place.

The Google Pixel 3 wasn’t a bad deal for a premium phone even at its original price, but you can of course find it even cheaper now, which perhaps makes this the best value that can be found on a flagship Android phone right now. If you’re not planning on spending the extra cash on the Pixel 4, but still want something fairly new (a 2018 model can hardly be called “old”) then the Pixel 3 is a lot of bang for your buck.

In May 2019, Google expanded its smartphone product range to include the first Pixel devices that are not flagships. The Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL were introduced as cheaper alternatives to the more expensive flagship models, as the popularity of midrange phones (such as Motorola’s Moto G-series, to name just one popular example) has ruled a large part Offer the performance of premium phones with Pared, increasing-down hardware and a much smaller price. The gamble has paid off, and the Pixel 3a and 3a XL have proven to be two of the best values to find in an Android smartphone if you’re not into premium details like all-metal construction.

Immediately after the Pixel 4 was released, rumors began circulating of the possibility of a new Pixel 4a – and it’s finally coming on August 3rd. We’re already seeing some deals on these, and they could be a better buy in 2020 if you’re looking for an affordable flagship alternative, but we wouldn’t be sure if we don’t have any Pixel 3a and 3a deals in the meantime XL for you.

Google Pixel 4a

It wasn’t long before people started speculating about the Pixel 4a as soon as the Pixel 4 was released, and on August 3rd we finally got our hands on it. It’s just as impressive as its predecessors, the Pixel 3a and 3a XL, despite a few relatively small cut corners (like the lack of IP water resistance) – and the notable lack of a bigger brother in the Pixel 4a XL. For good or bad, those interested in Google’s latest flagship medium-range alternative currently only have the standard 5.8-inch model to choose from.

However, Google’s decision to focus on releasing just one Pixel 4a device could have streamlined production to a level that could cut costs, as this product is shockingly cheap with an introductory price of just $ 350. That’s roughly the same retail prices we’ve seen for the last-gen Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, and we expect them to get even cheaper soon thanks to ongoing carrier deals and seasonal sales. If you are looking for the cheapest new Pixel money can buy (and don’t need an oversized screen) the Pixel 4a is an incredible value and is available for pre-order now.
