Today’s Best Mobile Phone Deals

As of August 2, 2020, Sprint will no longer exist as a brand. Sprint and T-Mobile merged at the beginning of this year.

Note that the availability of these plans depends on your geographic location and in some areas prices may not include additional upfront costs such as one-time activation or setup fees:

  • Best Unlimited Family Plan: T-Mobile Magenta Plus – – $ 35 / month per line for four lines, including taxes and fees
  • Best Cheap Plan: – – Starts at $ 15 / month
  • Best conversation and text plan: Republic Wireless – – Starts at $ 15 / month or $ 150 / year

T-Mobile currently offers one of the best unlimited tariff offers. The unlimited Magenta Plus package offers a lot of money: for only US $ 35 per month you get unlimited call, text and data transmission as well as HD streaming, 20 GB mobile hotspot data at 4G speed and a free Netflix subscription ( with two simultaneous HD streams). If you love to travel, you also get 4GB of 4G data in Mexico and Canada, plus unlimited in-flight WiFi if allowed. With the merger of T-Mobile and Sprint, Sprint customers are now T-Mobile customers.

Due to the merger of Sprint and T-Mobile earlier this year, Sprint no longer exists as a separate brand. The brand was discontinued on August 2, 2020.

AT & T.

AT&T is another contender for the best unlimited calling plan deal right now. The Unlimited Elite plan costs $ 50 per month and includes unlimited calls, texts, and data in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. You also get 30 GB of high-speed hotspot bandwidth for mobile devices per month (which is reset to 128 kbps when used), HD streaming, 5G access and a free subscription to HBO Max as a nice little sign-up bonus. If you don’t need all the extras, the Unlimited Starter plan gives you the same unlimited calls, texts, and data, plus 5G, for a cheaper price of $ 35 per month.

Verizon completes the list of “Big Four” US carriers and offers cellular services similar to the other major carriers, but tends to be more expensive if you only pay for one line. Unlimited Verizon Wireless plans start at $ 70 per month per line with unlimited calls, text, and data, but are cheaper at $ 60 / month / line for two lines, $ 45 / month for three, $ 35 / month for four, and 30 USD / month for five or more lines. Also, keep in mind that the Verizon Start Unlimited plan is rather simple. If you want extras like HD streaming, you’ll have to pay $ 10-20 more per line.

US Mobile

Prepaid WiFi plans are a great option for light users, kids, and anyone else who doesn’t use a lot of data every day. US Mobile is one of the best prepaid service providers currently available. So you can create your own tariff. That means you only pay for as many minutes, texts and gigabytes of data as you want. As just one example, having unlimited minutes and 1,000 texts would get you back only $ 12 a month, and if you want to work completely indefinitely, it’s still only $ 40 a month. You can get 10 GB of 4G roaming data in most countries (not just Mexico and Canada). By adding multiple lines to a plan, you can also unlock free extras like Disney + and Netflix.

Mint Mobile

Mint Mobile is new to the low-cost wireless scene and has great promise, especially for light data users who use their phones primarily for speaking and writing text messages. Mint also offers new customers an introductory offer. For the first three months, the cheapest unlimited talking and texting plan is offered at an affordable price of $ 15 per month (paid in increments of three months). This is unlimited for conversations and text only. However, you get 3GB of 4G data per month or up to 12GB of monthly data with the $ 25 monthly plan if you need more. After the first three months, this special price is back to normal. However, if you like your service, you can prepay the 12 month renewal plan and keep those low introductory prices.

Republic Wireless

If your needs are modest, Republic Wireless is a very affordable option, especially if you mainly need a phone for both conversation and text. The most basic talking / texting plan includes unlimited calling and texting for just $ 15 per month. If you want to add some data to your conversation and text plan, you can use 4G LTE for $ 5 per 1 GB (this equates to, for example, $ 20 per month for unlimited talk, text and 1 GB 4G data). However, if you prepay for an annual My Choice plan, you get two months free: for example, a Talk + Text plan for $ 15 / month costs $ 150 per year, and a plan for $ 20 / month costs $ 200 each Year and a The $ 25 / month plan with 2GB of data is $ 250 per year.
