Important Dates for SSC MTS 2024
The tentative dates for the release of official notification and application procedure for SSC Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2024 have been already announced with the annual calendar.The window to apply online for SSC MTS 2024 Exam will be activated from 7th May to 6th June 2024 (11 pm) and the candidates can make online fee payment till 7th June 2024 (11 pm).

Eligibility Criteria for SSC MTS 2024
Before you think of applying for the examination you must be aware of the eligibility criteria required for the exam. The eligibility criteria are mandatory for maintaining the level of the candidates and their knowledge and skills. The applicant must fulfil the following requirements to apply for the examination. The candidate must be an Indian citizen and the selection is based on merit and excellence of the candidate.
Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen or can be subject to Bhutan or Nepal.
Education Qualification: The eligibility criteria for educational qualification are fixed to maintain the same level of education and knowledge among the candidates applying for the exam. The candidates who wish to fill SSC MTS Application Form 204 must be a 10th-pass student or should have an equivalent degree from a recognized school.
Age limit: As mentioned earlier, the eligibility criteria are maintained to keep all candidates at the same level and so is the age limit to avoid extreme age differences among them. The age limit for MTS posts is set to be between 18 to 25 years and that for Havaldar posts is 18 to 27 years.
Candidates of reserved categories are provided with upper age relaxation in SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria as follows:
- SC / ST – 5 years
- OBC – 5 years
- PwD (Unreserved)- 10 years
- PwD (OBC)- 13 years
- PwD (SC / ST)- 15 years
- Ex-serviceman- 03 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date of receipt of online application.
How to apply for SSC MTS Exam 2024?

- Visit the new official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at www.ssc.gov.in.
- New applicants have to register themselves with a valid Email ID and working phone number.
- Then a link will be received on your registered Email ID
- Click on the link and fill in all the required details correctly in the application form.
- Upload all the documents, pictures, and signatures that are needed or asked.
- Before signing the declaration you must preview all your details and verify them twice.
- The page with the demand for an application fee will appear, submit the required fee through challan or net banking or debit or credit card
- A page of confirmation will appear on your screen.
- You will receive the confirmation on your registered Email ID and Mobile, however for the safer side print it directly also.
Application Fees
The online application fee for SSC MTS recruitment is Rs. 100/-. However, women candidates and those from SC, ST, PwBD, and ESM categories are exempted from paying the fee. Payment can be made online or through SBI Challan.
Selection Process for SSC MTS & Havaldar
The SSC has revised the selection process for Multi Tasking Staff and Havaldar posts. The recruitment process for the SSC MTS 2024 involves a Computer-Based Test with two sessions for both Multitasking and Havaldar roles. Candidates applying for the Havaldar position are also required to qualify a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- The CBT is the first stage of the selection process conducted online.
- The online exam consists of two sessions. Session 1 includes Numerical Ability, Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability, and Problem Solving. and Session 2 covers General Awareness of and English Language and Comprehension.
