For the collaboration, the designer turned to nature for inspiration and admitted that she aimed to make every piece feel classic, but still be informed of the way people decorate today. “When I chatted with Pottery Barn, I mentioned that I always want my home to be happy and quiet,” said Atwood. “We all agreed that we wanted that, and that’s the mood for which I created the patterns. For me, this meant looking for structural references in nature. Like the gentle ripple on the surface of a lake, when it rains, a field of flowers or the sedimentary layers of rock. I added some small textured prints to top it off. “

From colorful stripes to striking flowers, there is something for almost every design lover. In addition, many of the items in the Pottery Barn collection are affordable. A set of four cotton napkins costs just $ 32, throw pillows from $ 49.50, and a temporary 2 x 8 inch wallpaper sale for $ 85. The line also offers organic cotton towels, a new product category for creative people.

“Before I started my own line, I had worked with many different retailers at all levels of the market. I have always enjoyed this process of designing for different customers, price points and product categories,” says Atwood. “It was really wonderful to achieve this through the lens of my aesthetics for Pottery Barn customers.”
