RRB ALP Exam Date 2024

RRB ALP is a national-level exam conducted by RRB to recruit candidates for Assistant Loco Pilots posts for different railway zones across the country. The tentative RRB ALP 2024 exam dates are released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) through an official notice. The months in which the exams for recruiting eligible candidates for 5696 Assistant Loco Pilot posts are to be held are notified through the official notice and the same has been updated in the below table. RRB ALP Exam Date 2024 Notice

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has uploaded an official notice at regarding the tentative exam schedule for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 which indicates the months when RRB ALP CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT, and Document Verification could be conducted. RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2024

The RRB ALP 2024 exam will go through multiple rounds of exams which are (1) CBT Stage- 1, (2) CBT Stage- 2 ( Part A and Part B), (3) CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test) and (4) Document Verification.

CBT 1:

The RRB ALP CBT 1 exam will be based on 75 questions for 75 marks on Mathematics, Mental Ability, General Science, and General Awareness and the total time allotted for this exam is 60 minutes.

CBT 2:

The 2nd Stage of RRB ALP CBT exams will consist of two parts which are Part A and Part B. Part A will have questions on Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, Basic Science and Engineering. There will be a total of 100 questions to be asked with a time duration of 90 minutes for Part A whereas Part B will consist of questions on Relevant Discipline/Trade and will have 75 questions to be solved in 60 minutes. Part B will be qualifying only whereas the marks of Part A will decide the qualification to the next stages of the selection process and it will be also counted in the final selection.

CBAT:

Candidates equal to 8 times ALP vacancies for each category will be shortlisted for the CBAT round based on their marks in Part A of the CBT 2 exam. The CBAT round will be only in English and Hindi and there will be no negative marking in this round. The marks for the final selection will be calculated in the ratio of 70:30, where 70% of marks will be calculated from Part A of the CBT 2 exam and 30% of marks will be calculated from the CBAT exam.
