Ronaldo is the first football star to break $1 billion earnings milestone

The Portuguese superstar has become the first football player in history to earn more than $ 1 billion in his playing career, according to Forbes.

The Juventus striker earned $ 650 million just from football, the rest coming from a series of off-the-field approval agreements.

He becomes only the third athlete to cross the billion dollar mark while playing, joining Tiger Woods and Floyd Mayweather in this illustrious club.
