Democratic President-Elect Joe Biden ended Friday with voting in Wisconsin’s largest counties seeking Republican President Donald Trump’s election campaign.

After being admitted to Milwaukee County, Biden received a net gain of 132 votes out of nearly 460,000 cast members. In total, Biden received 257 votes in Trump’s 125.

Trump’s campaign sought to count in two of Wisconsin’s two most populous and Democratic-leaning counties, after losing to Wisconsin by more than 20,000 votes. Both are calculated to cost the Trump campaign $ 3 million. The county is expected to finish its return on Sunday.

Overall, Biden won the November 3 US presidential election with 306 electoral college votes – needed for more than 270 wins – to Trump’s 232. Biden also leads more than six million in the popular vote tally.

Milwaukee County Clerk George Christenson said that “after it ends:” suggests that we already know: Elections in Milwaukee County are fair, transparent, accurate, and safe. “

The Trump campaign is still expected to pose a legal challenge to the overall result in Wisconsin, but time is running out. The state is due to certify its presidential result on Tuesday.
