TMZ has released a video of the first sighting of Harry and Meghan in Los Angeles, where they can be seen arriving at several apartment complexes to deliver food. The pair apparently worked for Project Angel Food, a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization that prepares and delivers food to people with chronic illnesses. According to TMZ, Meghan and Harry have deposited food in a “low-income housing unit for residents with disabilities and special needs, and [they] made a few stops inside the building. “
Happy to see these two helping out during such a difficult time for so many vulnerable people. Oh, and reminder: The Duke and Duchess are preparing to launch their new Archewell Foundation, a non-profit charity with volunteer services and a “far-reaching website”.
In a statement, Meghan and Harry said, “Before SussexRoyal came up with the idea of” the ark, “the Greek word for” source of action. ” for our son’s name. Do something meaningful, do something that matters. Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources on which we all must draw. “
