Tile will give your home a much more modern look, with the use of tile being popular in recent years. This kind of flooring has been around since the 1800’s. When you get ready to lay the tiles down, you will have to make sure that there is enough room to allow for the tiles to roll together, as they will not sit directly on top of each other. It is easy to keep track of how many tiles you will need, as you will only have to take one more step to lay out the tiles.

Vinyl is similar to tile in many ways. They both are made with tiles, but the difference is that they are designed for installation on your own. 1. It’s great to know that waterproof vinyl plank flooring can be made to look like it’s made out of another material. Since I’m planning to adopt a dog soon I can’t afford to still have wood flooring that are very susceptible to scratches from a pet. Hopefully I can find vinyl flooring with a pattern that makes it look wooden.
