Steps to download the OSSC CGL Admit Card 2024

Candidates must have their login information, through which they can download their OSSC CGL Hall Ticket 2024. Candidates do not need to worry much about downloading the admit card.

  1. Visit the official website of the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC), https://www.ossc.gov.in/.
  2. On the homepage, locate the “Candidate’s Corner” section.
  3. Under the “Candidate’s Corner” section, click on the “Download Admit Card” option.
  4. You are redirected to a new page. Search for ” Download the Admission Letter for Preliminary Examination of Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination-2023″ and click on it.
  5. On the new page, enter your registered username, mobile number, or email ID, your password, and captcha code.
  6. Click on the “Login” button.
  7. Your admit card is displayed on your screen.
  8. Carefully review all the details on your admit card, including your name, roll number, exam center, and exam date.
  9. Download your admit card and save it for future reference.

OSSC CGL Admit Card 2024- Important Instruction

  • The candidates must carry a hard copy of the OSSC CGL Prelims Admit Card 2024 to the exam center to appear for the examination.
  • Along with the Admit Card candidates are required to carry a valid original photo identity proof and a photocopy of the identity proof.
  • Candidates must arrive at the exam center at the reporting time stated on their Admit Card. No candidates will be admitted to the examination if they arrive late, under any circumstances.
  • Candidates are advised to not carry any banned item, link electronic items and books, or notebooks to the examination venue.

OSSC CGL Selection Process

The selection process for Odisha’s Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Group B and C posts comprises three phases: Preliminary examination, Main examination, and Certificate Verification. The Prelims Exam for OSSC CGL 2024 has a duration of 150 minutes, during which candidates must answer 150 multiple-choice questions. Moving on to The main exam, it consists of two papers: Paper 1 focuses on language proficiency in Odia and English, and Paper 2 covers general studies. Certain posts, such as Auditor, Inspector of Supplies under FS & CW Department, Junior Assistant, and Junior Clerk, also require a Computer Skill Test. Candidates who successfully clear the prelims examination will proceed to the Odisha Staff Selection Commission mains Examination, followed by certificate verification.

OSSC CGL Prelims Exam Pattern

The OSSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) prelims examination is an online computer-based test, comprising 150 multiple-choice questions. Each question carries one mark, and the total duration of the exam is 150 minutes. However, there is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The questions are set at the 10th standard level and cover various subjects.
