THE FILM OF THE DAY

With The Crazy Story of Max and Leon, the Palmashow duo (formed by Grégoire Ludig and David Marsais) break away from their sketch shows to embark on a cinematic adventure in the midst of World War II. Directed by their friend Jonathan Barré, the feature film is full of various references (to American blockbusters of the 80s, to war films such as La Grande Vadrouille or Grandpa makes resistance, or to more contemporary parodies) and many guests (including Florence Foresti, Kad Merad and Kyan Khojandi).

A recipe that seduces the public since the box office of The Crazy Story of Max and Leon reached more than one million admissions when it was released in 2016, which earned it the First Work Trophy awarded by Le Film Français. Buoyed by this success, the Palmashow is back with Les Vedettes, in theaters since yesterday, this time taking place in the ruthless world of game shows.
