Nicola Peltz: his style choices told by the stylist

Nicola Peltz (25 years old) is the dream of any stylist. The American actress, who has just announced her engagement to Brooklyn Beckham, is self-confident and determined when it comes to her personal aesthetic and has a knowledge of fashion that goes beyond brands. “Nicola knows who she is, what she likes and what works on her,” says celeb stylist Leslie Fremar on the phone from Los Angeles. “It’s nice to work with someone who is so assertive, because you can come up with ideas without feeling like you want to take control.”

Peltz and Fremar – who also wears Charlize Theron and Julianne Moore on the red carpet – have worked together since the time of the world tour for the launch of Transformers: Age of Extinction in 2014. “At that time, the films had previews in many countries” , notes Fremar. Today, such a large travel program seems like a really strange concept in the midst of a global pandemic, but then it allowed the couple to get to know each other and build a good level of trust between them. “Choosing and packing your clothes for two months gave me the opportunity to get to know Nicola’s personal taste in depth”, says Fremar. She didn’t show up with specific brands in mind, Peltz immediately tried to focus her the focus on Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Celine and Prada. “The interesting thing about Nicola”, adds Fremar, “is that it tends to dress the brands in their cleanest and simplest version”.

Peltz’s wardrobe is minimal. “She doesn’t like elaborate details, prints or colors,” says Fremar. “Everything he wears is contemporary.” The snow-white Stella McCartney dress that the actress wore at the Berlin premiere of the action movie is emblematic of her tastes. “It was so special even though it was very simple,” recalls Fremar of that long-sleeved dress, one sort of statement with its purity.

Another orange Prada suit, with a tie around his neck, was an example of his ability to wear bright colors but on his terms. “Again, the dress was minimal, but interesting,” says Fremar.

His love for vintage Chanel – Peltz wore a Chanel suit in Puglia during the holidays with the Beckhams – is deeply rooted in the choices of the star with his love for details. “Nicola is simple, but very attentive to details,” says Fremar. “He appreciates good tailoring. He knows the length of the sleeve and how everything should fall on the body. When a customer is aware of all these things, it makes such a difference … “.

This means that Peltz takes his job seriously. “Whether he has a stage outfit or a red carpet look, Nicola is always perfect,” says Fremar. “He pays close attention to everything, he appreciates the people competent in their sector”. Such an important relationship certainly means that Fremar will help the future bride to choose the outfit she will wear on her wedding day when she becomes Mrs. Beckham. Fermar is an always very discreet Hollywood professional, and has no intention of anticipating anything on the subject, but admits that choosing the red carpet look is not so different from identifying the right bridal look.

“Marriage is also an opportunity for” normal “people to create a look like celebs do on the red carpet,” says Fremar. “From sketches to samples, from the choice of accessories to tests, everything requires elaborate processes.” Fremar predicted that Peltz will already have a clear idea of what she will wear to marry Brooklyn. “I really appreciate your personal development process, because there is so much choice out there,” says Fremar. “At the same time, she is so adorable and so easy to work with. “
