NEET Result 2024, Check NEET UG 2024 Cut Off Marks (Expected), Scores here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET Result on 14 June 2024 at neet.nta.nic.in. Participating candidates can check their results from the official website and download their scorecards officially. This entrance exam was conducted on 05 May 2024 (Sunday) successfully.

The NEET exam has to be scheduled to pursue admission to undergraduate courses. It was held at different examination centres and more than 20 lakh students appeared in this examination. To check the NEET UG Results 2024, students must be handy with their registration number and date of birth.

Along with the final result, the testing agency will send the scorecards through the student’s registered Email IDs. It will be released on the same day on the official website.

NEET Exam Overview

This test was conducted in offline mode. There were two sections in each subject, i.e. Section A and B. Section A had 35 questions, and Section B had 15 questions, totalling 50 questions. From the total questions, it was compulsory to attend all questions of Section A and 10 of 15 questions of Section B. It includes subjects in physics, chemistry, and biology (botany & zoology). All questions were multiple-choice, with a total of 720 marks. Each correct answer carried 04 marks. There was a negative marking of 01 mark for each incorrect answer.

NEET UG 2024 Result Date

This entrance test determines the student’s eligibility for admission in MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing, BAMS, and other paramedical courses. Those who took this test await the NEET result, which will be declared on 14 June 2024 at neet.nta.nic.in.

Merit List & Counselling Process

The authority will prepare the merit list of the students, including rank-wise names and marks obtained by them. Based on the merit list, the authority will call the qualified students for counselling. Those who qualify for this entrance exam must register their names in the counselling process by paying the registration fee.

The authority provides the courses and colleges per the student’s ranks and marks through counselling. Students have to choose the courses and colleges that best fit their preferences. After choice filling, the authority will allot the seats to the students. After the allotment, students have to report to the allotted institutes.

How to Check the NEET UG Result 2024?

Students have to use these steps to check the “NEET Result 2024”:

  1. Go to the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
  2. Look for the “Public Notice” section.
  3. The authority has provided several links regarding the examination. Choose the link to check the “NEET Result 2024”.
  4. After finding the link, click on the link and enter the registration number, date of birth and captch code/security pin into the login criteria.
  5. Now, click on the “Proceed/Submit” button.
  6. The result will be displayed on the screen in pdf format.
  7. Download it and check your results.
