Natasha’s MCU Journey Isn’t Over Yet

Marvel Studios finally releases the latest trailer for Black Widow, the long-awaited solo film focusing on Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff.

Marvel Studios has officially unveiled the next look at the highly-anticipated Black Widow. Fans have been clamoring for a solo film centered on Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff for years now, and they’ve had to wait even longer for its arrival thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. Black Widow was initially scheduled for release back in May 2020, but Marvel ended up pushing it to November. Then it was delayed again to May of this year, and then once more to July. Now armed with a Premier Access debut on Disney+, Black Widow will finally be released on July 9.

Black Widow will explore the period of time between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War when Natasha was on the run. Her journey will take her back to her Russian roots, as well as the Red Room where she was trained to be an assassin. Previous trailers for Black Widow confirmed Nat will reunite with her former family, comprised of Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz), and Alexei Shostakov (David Harbour). Their mission? To finally take down the Red Room.

After months of relative radio silence regarding the film’s promotion, Marvel has finally shared the newest trailer for Black Widow. Check it out in the space below.

More to come…
