So with today’s wedding and it is the turn of Megan and Jeff who were married on June 1, 2019 in Pioneerstown, California. The couple loved the music festival, meeting Burning Man on their first date in Coachella. They decided that the California desert was the right place for their minimalistic, outward marriage. The day feels perfect against the backdrop of the California desert not far from the Joshua Tree, and is beautifully captured by Sebastian Becas Photography.
Minimum wedding in California desert
how did they meet
“We met in the spring of 2010 at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California. Our mutual friend Jay introduced us to that weekend, and we became friends of each other over the next year or so and saw each other at concerts along the coast of California. We finally started dating in late 2011 after Jeff took Megan on her first trip to Burning Man.
Sebastian photographer tells us more about the day
His love for the desert is so great that he had his special day in Poyntown, near Joshua Tree NP. The first glance was particularly acute. Megan and Jeff are both introverted so at first glance it was not for the show itself. It was a deep and meaningful moment. They both also cried to underline the importance of their commitment. The second major part was to dance under the California desert stars. They love music festivals – they met in Coachella. He has a taste specific to his music that we never listen to. Everyone enjoyed the time which felt more like a garden party with their community than a wedding.
