Today I am treating you to this gorgeous barn wedding. Attention to detail is outstanding, I know you’re going to like it! Mandy and Jeremiah and were married in Michigan on July 27, 2019. He chose this grand barn site that gave him the rustic elegant backdrop he was looking for. They chose a C-glass and coral color scheme, which you can see in cakes and amazing flowers. My favorite part is the different success displayed for your wedding favors, so adorable! This wedding can have amazing decoration ideas, a real treat for the eyes. Big thanks to Jean Smith Photography for the beautiful pictures.
how did they meet
My husband and I met at a place called ‘Pond Hill Farm’ in Northern Michigan. At the time he was working as a waiter in the tasting room there. Thankfully I only had enough alcohol to muster the courage to tell him my way. I will never forget the surprised and surprised look on her face as I slipped her number on the way. Jeremiah did not calm it down and texted me later that night. the rest is history! He met us exactly one year later. A year later the day we were married in Northern Michigan.
I wanted to do something that was a touch vintage as well as elegant. I knew that I wanted to fit a lot with lace and I got the same. The long train behind was my favorite part!
Theme or Color Scheme
We were going for a rustic elegant theme. Our color palette was sea-glass and coral with gold accents.
We were fortunate to work with our amazing wedding coordinator, Sarah, who helped us decorate the space to match our theme. As much as I love DIY, we didn’t do it ourselves because it was a Northern Michigan destination wedding.
For our flowers we drew from our sea glass and coral color palette. We used coral roses, muted greenery (eucalyptus and succulent) to help with sea-glass, and tons of ivory hydrangeas. The flowers were the perfect shabby-chic touch for our theme.
Because we love photography (and camping) then we went with the Happy Snappy Photo Booth which had ‘Happy Camper’ for people to take photos, it was the cutest thing ever!
Walking down the aisle apparently. There is nothing that you can prepare for walking. It was just surreal to see Jeremiah standing on the change waiting for me.
Advice for other couples
Do not sweat the small stuff! At the end of the day it all works. Just enjoy it and live in mommy!
