The new collection Louis Vuitton man created by Virgil Abloh she is the protagonist of a trip around the world inaugurated with an animated short presented during the first digital edition of Paris Fashion Week and which will end with an IRL show on August 6 in Shanghai.
The cartoon entitled “The adventures of Zoooom with friends”, shown at the Maison de Famille Louis Vuitton in the heart of the Asnières district of Paris, sees a scalmatana band of animals to conquer the city during the days of fashion week, distorting the most sacred and representative places of the Ville Lumière, and spreading rainbows and terror to the Louis Vuitton buildings in Asnières. After desecrating theArch of Triumph and having upset the Parisians, Zoooom and his gang greet the Louis Vuitton containers from which they were escaped, and let them continue the adventure aboard a barge on the Seine.
By the end of the year, after the Shanghai fashion show, the journey will continue with an event in Tokyo.

The characters in the animation short embody the theme of childhood, dear to the designer, e in their diversity they want to spread a message of inclusiveness and union. Zoooom and its gang reveal some details of the new collection Louis Vuitton man by Virgil Abloh entitled “Message in a Bottle”: black and white checkered prints alternate with macro motifs with the geometric flowers of the Maison’s Monogram alphabet in looks with brighter or more nuanced hues.
Designed during the lockdown, the Louis Vuitton men’s spring summer 2021 collection is based on four upcycling methods: some looks were created by the studio using already available recycled materials, others are made with new recycled materials, some are reinterpretations of the autumn winter 2020 collection, and part of the collection was created on the basis of existing ideas. These principles establish the premise for the evolution of the men’s collection imagined by Virgil Abloh.
