Things are a little tense among Kardashian-Jenner households. Kylie jenner would be furious with her mother over allegations that she lied about her billionaire status. Kylie won’t answer the phone when Kris Jenner call him. She is angry at allegations that falsified tax returns have been filed, which has led to an investigation into her net worth and the removal of her billionaire status. Kris, of course, is not only Kylie’s mother but also her manager, so she gets 10% of all the deals Kylie makes. Sources close to the family say Kylie doesn’t know who she can trust at the moment. The same sources also said that Kris feared that Kylie would fire her.
It is believed that Kylie and her team exaggerated the size and success of Kylie Cosmetics and have been doing so for years – something, I must add, we here at Celebrity Net Worth thought it was happening while some other publications were eager to declare Kylie a billionaire in early 2019. Our fearless leader, Brian, was quick to point out – in a point-by-point teardown of questionable Forbes dubious math – how that was not possible. And we took a lot of puddles from his fans for not falling in line to swoon over his success.
Kylie’s business has now been proven to be significantly smaller and less profitable than the Kardashian-Jenner family has claimed for years. The allegations further allege that the Kardashian-Jenner family made unusual efforts to prove Kylie’s wealth, including by creating false tax returns which she showed to the press. She was named the youngest self-taught billionaire in 2019 and 2020. Even we were ready to acquiesce on this front when she sold 51% of Kylie Cosmetics to Coty, in a transaction valued at $ 1.2 billion. Now it looks like it was just a house of cards.
Kylie went to Twitter to deny claims that she is not a billionaire. She wrote: “What I woke up to even. I thought it was a reputable site. All I see is a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions lol.” And “I never asked for a title or tried to lie down on it NEVER. Point.”
Kylie also denied any falsification of her tax returns. If she effectively falsified tax returns, Kylie and possibly Kris could be sentenced to prison terms if those false tax returns were filed with the IRS or used to pump Kylie Cosmetics’ assessment in the Coty case .
Kris wouldn’t worry about the COVID-19 pandemic or the fact that unarmed blacks are killed multiple times by police, but rather worries about the damage that these allegations could cause to the Kardashian-Jenner brand than it has spent in the past ten years. As usual, the Kardashian-Jenner family is focused on itself. In this completely crazy and crazy world in which we live, at least they are reliable in their self-absorption.
