Katy Perry and Julia Roberts: the dress of the Met Gala 2020
Due to COVID-19, the Met Gala 2020 saw its first exclusively digital version. The event began on May 4 at 4:00 PM Italian and ended the next day at 9:00 PM, with the history of the Met. It does not seem out of place, therefore, that different stars wanted to share online, via social networks, the look they should have worn at the famous and highly anticipated fashion event.
First of all Katy Perry with a melancholy post on Instagram. The singer was supposed to sport a maternity version of Jean Paul Gaultier’s famous corset. The garment had previously been worn by Jourdan Dunn – pregnant – on the designer’s Spring Summer 2010 catwalk.
Princely, however, the dress of the splendid Julia Roberts, characterized by a strapless bustier and tulle flounces in black and white. The actress took the opportunity to remind everyone that in order to defeat the Coronavirus one must stay at home.
