With easy access to film his appearance as a judge on American Idol in Los Angeles, Lionel Richie lives in the Beverly Hills area. Architectural Digest describes Lionel’s BV mansion as having 28 rooms. Per Heavy, the house was worth $6 million when Lionel Richie purchased it, but it is now worth a whopping $11 million. Lionel’s American Idol co-star Luke Bryan described this Beverly Hills mansion as having a different ceiling in every room that he walked in, including the bathrooms. That is because the mansion’s theme is traveling, so it includes different aesthetics from places that Lionel has visited in the world.

When he’s not busy judging the talented singers on American Idol season 19, Lionel Richie rests at his enormous Beverly Hills mansion. The house was reportedly built in 1929, and it overlooks the famous Los Angeles Country Club. In the AD profile, the property was described as having “high ceilings, dramatic staircases, sweeping promenades and international panache,” which sounds like a very exciting place for a creative person to live in.

As per usual, Lionel Richie shows no signs of slowing down when it comes to his judging stint on ABC’s American Idol. While it is great that new generations are getting to know Lionel and all of his hit songs, there are plenty of fans who have been listening to his music for many decades.
