Lionel’s American Idol co-star Luke Bryan described this Beverly Hills mansion as having a different ceiling in every room that he walked in, including the bathrooms. That is because the mansion’s theme is traveling, so it includes different aesthetics from places that Lionel has visited in the world.
When he’s not busy judging the talented singers on American Idol season 19, Lionel Richie rests at his enormous Beverly Hills mansion. The house was reportedly built in 1929, and it overlooks the famous Los Angeles Country Club. In the AD profile, the property was described as having “high ceilings, dramatic staircases, sweeping promenades and international panache,” which sounds like a very exciting place for a creative person to live in.
