Frequently wash your hands
Washing your skin several times a day will help in fading the henna. Use an antiseptic soap and water to wash your hands. The soap will help in removing the mehandi colour from your hand. You can do it as often as you want. However, make sure to moisturize your skin every time you wash your hand. Soap can be harsh on your skin. You will need to replenish the moisture. The process is a little slow. It may take a week to completely remove the henna stain.
Exfoliate your skin
Scrub exfoliates your skin. It removes the dead skin as well as the mehandi stain. You can use homemade scrub. Take a generous amount of scrub between your palms. Rub both palms together for two to three minutes. It can be used anywhere in your skin. Gently massage the scrub where the mehandi is applied. Wash your skin with lukewarm water. Apply a generous amount of moisturizer to your skin. You can use this step once every day until the mehandi completely fades away.
Bleach using lime juice
Lime juice is one of the best known cleansing agents. It also has bleaching property. Applying lime juice on your mehandi will bleach away the colour gradually. Squeeze the juice from your lime. Rub it on your skin for a few minutes. Wash away with water. Some people feel find that direct application of lime juice is irritating their skin. You can add a few drops of olive oil, milk or half teaspoon of yogurt in this case. Use this method twice a day for best results.
Use hydrogen peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide is an excellent bleaching agent. It is often used in pedicures and manicures for brightening your skin. There are two ways to apply hydrogen peroxide. You can mix equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and water and soak your hands for 10 minutes. You can also directly dab hydrogen peroxide on your skin with cotton. It usually gives instant result. Therefore, use it only when you want to remove the mehandi stain in a day. Also, do not use this method more than once.

Other steps you can use for removing your mehandi
|Olive oil and salt mixture in equal parts||With the help of cotton apply the olive oil and salt mixture on your skin. Gently massage for two to three minutes. Leave for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash with warm water or wipe with kitchen tissue.||The process can be repeated several times a day.|
|Toothpaste||Apply the toothpaste on the mehandi stain. Leave it to dry. Rub the skin. Make sure to apply moisturizer afterward.||Once in a 3 days.|
