I found the perfect iPhone 15 accessory, and it’s only $50

I’m on my iPhone 15 Pro Very, Especially during my frequent trips to Disneyland, I rely heavily on my iPhone – or whatever smartphone I happen to have that day. Even if it’s not Disneyland, if I know I’ll be out all day, I always carry an external battery pack with me.

I’ve seen a lot of power banks, and one thing I don’t particularly like about most of them is that you need to provide your own cable. Lately, I’ve been leaning more towards MagSafe power banks or power banks that have an integrated, built-in cable, because, hey, the convenience factor!

Anker, one of my favorite brands for power accessories, recently came out with a new Nano lineup in anticipation of the iPhone 15 lineup’s shift to USB-C. I was sent a few products from the collection, but my favorite has been the Anker Nano 30W Power Bank with built-in USB-C cable. Apart from the long, ugly name, it’s pretty incredible.

What is so special about this Anker charger?

The Anker Nano 30W Power Bank with USB-C is a small and compact battery pack. In terms of its shape, think of something like a candy bar, but shorter and wider. It fits my hand perfectly, and the plastic casing feels nice to hold and doesn’t feel cheap. Anker also created the plastic shell from 80% recycled plastic from post-consumer waste to help reduce carbon emissions.

Despite the small size, this is actually a 10,000mAh power bank, not 5,000mAh as you’d probably expect from one of this size.

On the Anker Nano 30W, you will get one USB-C port that is used for both input and output and another USB-A port. Using the USB-C port, you can power the battery pack up to 50% in about 45 minutes or the iPhone 14 Pro up to 50% in 30 minutes.

But the real magic with this battery pack is the built-in USB-C cable that slides out and locks into place at the top. Since this integrated cable is flat and locks into place, it can form a small carrying handle or loop, making it quite easy to carry with you or clip it onto a carabiner on your bag.

This cable can also be used for both input and output. This means you can charge your iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro or any other Android smartphone with ease. You can also plug the power bank directly into the USB-C port and charge it quickly that way.

Another thing that makes this little battery pack stand out is the built-in display, which is found on the metallic side of the charger along with the Anker logo. This display tells you how much power the power bank currently has, and if you’ve plugged something into it for charging, it tells you how long it will take to fully charge. Anker is incorporating displays into its new accessories, and it’s good to see it on this tiny battery pack.

A perfect companion for your iPhone 15

I’ve been carrying Anker’s battery pack with me almost everywhere, because I always keep it in my purse or Loungefly Mini Backpack when I go to Disneyland. This has become my favorite new battery pack, and with good reason.

This is one of the fastest power banks I have owned. It has a capacity of 10,000mAh, which is plenty for this compact size, and it charges at the full 30-watt speed. That’s extremely fast for a power bank!

While my husband and I were at the Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure last month, I plugged in my iPhone 15 Pro and during a 10-minute break, my iPhone’s battery went from about 30% to 45%. With this small battery pack, I was able to easily power my phone while we waited in line to meet and pose with the characters. This ensured that I never had to worry about running out of juice during the night’s festivities.

I also really like the display built into the battery pack. Other battery packs just have a few LED lights to give you an idea of how much juice is left, but sometimes you end up with less battery in the pack than you thought, and it may not be enough to fully charge. Could. The display on the Anker Nano gives me accurate numbers, so I never have to guess how much charge it has. It’s also great to see how long it will take for your device to fully charge.

With all these features, I’d say the $50 price of the Anker Nano 30W Power Bank with USB-C is worth it. Even though you can find other 10,000mAh battery packs at a lower price, the integrated USB-C cable, 30W speeds, additional USB-C and USB-A ports, and a smart display make this one of the best compact battery packs. And whether you’re getting it for your new iPhone 15 or another USB-C-equipped phone, it’s a hard accessory to beat.
