The digital show format is the first of its kind for the American brand and comes after Kors decided to opt out of the traditional fashion calendar (it usually shows during NYFW). Back in June, Kors announced that it would only present two collections per year for its brand of the same name – one for spring / summer and one for autumn / winter. At that time, he also announced that the deliveries of these collections would be “gradually” over the course of the season in order to become “closer” [reflect] how customers actually live and shop in today’s world. ”

The show begins at 9 p.m. ET.
Commenting on his decision, Kors said: “I have long thought that the fashion calendar had to change. It’s exciting for me to see the open dialogue within the fashion community about the calendar – from Giorgio Armani to Gucci to YSL to major retailers around the world – about ways we can slow the process down and improve the way we work. We have all had time to reflect and analyze things and I think many agree that it is time for a new approach to a new era. ”
Tomorrow at 9 a.m. ET, this new approach will begin. The livestream (which you can watch below) begins with a movie called Up on the roofwho have favourited Kors’ inspiration for the Spring 2021 collection will examine. At the end of the film, the virtual runway show begins.
