As mentioned, Buneary Spotlight hour will occur on April 6th from 6 pm to 7 pm. Here are a few things players can do to prepare for the event.
- Don’t Clear Your Storage Beforehand: Normally, players should clear out their Pokemon storage before a big event to make room for the new Pokemon. Instead, players should wait until the event begins to transfer any old Pokemon. Double the candy is a great reward for being patient.
- Star Piece: Make sure to pop a Star Piece during this event to double the amount of Stardust you collect.
- Lucky Egg: Make sure to use a Lucky Egg to double to amount of XP you’ll earn with every capture.
- Shiny Buneary: This Pokemon is available in the game and is an adorable pink bunny. To save time, just tap the Buneary in the wild and run if it’s not Shiny and repeat the process. This is likely the best chance to find a Shiny Buneary.
Pokemon Go will host tons of other Spotlight Hours throughout the month. Make sure to stay on top of these events to reap the benefits. Pokemon Go will likely have a strong 2021 moving forward.
