How Many Projects Does Tiffany Haddish Have Now?
It seemed that it was impossible to go to a movie theatre in recent time and not see a bunch of advertisements for a movie that features Tiffany Haddish. She quickly went from being a breakout star on NBC’s The Carmichael Show to a big name in the 2017 film Girls Trip. Since then, she’s been in a dizzying array of productions.
According to the Internet Movie Database, Haddish was in five movies in 2018. She was then in five more films in 2019. She also stars on the TBS series The Last OG, and she also starred on the since-cancelled Netflix series Tuca and Bertie.
It should be no surprise that Tiffany Haddish is still showing up in what seems like every other product out there. Her production company is also starting to make waves. Let’s take a look at the extensive array of things she’s up to.
As of March 2020, Tiffany Haddish has been in one film, the comedy Like a Boss. She is expected to star in Bad Trip later this year. The film is a hidden camera film where Haddish, Lel Rey Howery, and Eric Andre prank people on a cross-country trip.
There are a few other film projects she’ll be starring in. One of these will be On the Count of Three, a movie directed by her former Carmichael Show star Jerrod Carmichael.
Haddish will also star in Here Today, a film directed by Billy Crystal and written by Crystal and Alan Zweibel. The film stars Crystal as a comedy writer who becomes friends with a street singer played by Haddish.
Haddish is also currently filming the Card Counter. The Paul Schrader film will also feature Willem Dafoe and Oscar Isaac. The film is about a group of people trying to stay on the straight and narrow as they get to a World Series of Poker event in Las Vegas.
Tiffany Haddish also has a new production company that has been active. The She Ready company will be a producer of Here Today. The group also produced two of her recent standup comedy specials, Like a Boss, and Tuca and Bertie. She also used the production company to support the show They Ready, a series where Haddish introduces some of her favorite comedians, including April Macie, Aida Rodriguez, and Chaunte Wayans.
Anyone who goes to a movie theater in the future will almost certainly see Tiffany Haddish on the promotional posters, just like they have in the last few years. She has been taking a strong initiative on being a star, so don’t expect to see her fade away anytime soon.
