Sony / Guerilla Games

Horizon Forbidden West, the sequel to the adventure game Horizon Zero Dawn 2017, was announced at Sony’s PS5 event last week with no release date. Developer Guerrilla Games reduced it on Wednesday in a video presentation: its launch is scheduled for 2021.

“In an open world game like Horizon Forbidden West, if you open the map and travel quickly from one end to the other, restarting from a checkpoint will be super fast,” he said. he stated in the video. “And when you start the game, you’re right there – in action.”

This open world will be quite large – de Jonge noted that the title Forbidden West refers to “a mysterious new frontier” stretching from Utah to the Pacific Ocean – and looks absolutely magnificent.

Other major PS5 games revealed at the Sony event include: Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Resident Evil Village, Gran Turismo 7 and one many more.
