Low blood pressure is one of the most common diseases in today’s hectic life. For an adult aged 30 to 55 the desirable blood pressure must be not less than systolic 130 and diastolic 80. Intake more fluids:

In the case of low BP, salt waters work the best. Salt contains sodium and chlorine. Both of the elements help to balance the sodium level in the body. Also salt contributes to increasing the blood pressure. Please note that having more salt water a day can affect adversely as well. Half teaspoon of salt in a glass of water twice a day would be fine for an average person. Also, check with your doctor before you start this routine.
Beetroot is very helpful to produce blood in the body. Raw beetroots are more useful than boiled ones. If you take a cup of raw beetroot juice a twice day (once in the morning and once in the evening), it will help you a lot to cure low BP.
Carrots contain high Vitamins. A person who is suffering from low BP due to malnutrition can have a glass of carrot juice once or twice a day. Have a glass of carrot juice in empty stomach in the morning.
A cup of almond milk once a day is handy for curing low BP. Soak 2-3 almonds in water overnight. Crush them in the morning and boil in plain milk. The skin must be taken off before you cook them in milk. Have that milk in the morning every day for a week.
Lemon juice to works well for the low BP patients. Also one needs to make sure that lemon has citric acid. So if the patient has acidic or gastritis issues, then lemon must be avoided.
Energy Drinks & Milk:
Plain milk or energy drinks such as cocoa milk and chocolate milk can be another way of getting rid of low BP problems.
Caffeinated products or drinks are useful in curing low blood pressure. If you see your blood pressure is roaming around 90/60 for a long time, it is time to shoot it up little to get back your healthy weight. Coffee or any drinks that contain caffeine are helpful in here. Some of the drinks mentioned above such as chocolate drinks, cocoa drink, and other energy drinks. Also, soda and black tea are helpful for curing the same. One must be noted that coffee with milk will not work in this case. Black coffee and black tea will be more useful.
Raisins soaked in water can work well for curing low BP. Soak 7-8 or maximum ten raisins in water for overnight. In the morning have them in empty stomach. To have them effect, have a glass of cool water. Once you finish the water don’t eat or drink anything for next at least 1 hour. This time span will allow the raisins to work. It contains high nutrients that help to increase the pressure level.
Rich Fibre must be there in your meal:
Low blood pressure can arise due to malnutrition in the body. If this happens, the rich fiber must be taken on the daily basis. Add more fibre to your daily meal such as carrots, peas, bananas and cereals. These will make your system gets better and also help you to get back your normal blood pressure.
Basil extract mixed with honey:
Basil is one such leaf that can protect you from many diseases. This one, not only helps you to increase blood pressure, but also helps one to fight cold and cough. Also, it contributes to gain more immunity in the body. Take some fresh basil leaves and extract the juice from them. Mix a spoon of honey with it and have the mixture twice a day. Ginger and Aniseed are the two things that are useful in curing low BP. Both of these elements are used in cooking. However, they must be taken differently in here. Both these spices can be made in the liquid state. Add some honey with either of the extracts and have them in the morning.

These activities do not take much time. whenever you are about to wake up in the morning and stand up, you can try this out. Before you stand up pump your feet and ankle 3-4 times on the floor and then stand up.
Similarly, when you sleep, the head must be elevated a little. Instead of having soft pillows you can have little pumped up pillows under your head. If you have other issues like arthritis or spondylosis, then you can use the orthopedic mattress to elevate your head while sleeping.
