Holidays in Italy? And maybe for free? A historic stone villa immersed in the Tuscan countryside, among ancient oaks and hectares of olive trees; a group of ten friends gathered after so many months spent far away; 10 days to live in company among the quiet of the place and, instead of the short stories, a selection of Online Experiences to travel, at least virtually, all over the world.
These are the premises of the newAirbnb decameron for summer 2020, designed to offer Millennials the unique opportunity to disconnect from everything and spend an adventure together, just like the protagonists of Boccaccio’s masterpiece. So, 700 years later, the story takes on a new life and becomes a way no longer to escape, but to find yourself: from 22 to 31 August 2020, in fact, a guest and nine friends will be able to recover the past months separated due to the lockdown, enjoying the summer in total safety. They will stay inside the dwelling La Selva, Built in the eighteenth century in the middle of an uncontaminated park of eighteen hectares, among olive trees and oak woods. In the summer of social distancing, the house, with its seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, allows guests to protect themselves and their adventure companions, while enjoying the time together away from the rhythms and chaos of the city thanks to services like a salt water swimming pool, a Roman amphitheater and a wood oven.
Together, they will learn about the traditions of distant countries and meet people from all over the world thanks to a selection of Online Experiences, to try during your stay. Like modern stories, these experiences will entertain guests and give them the opportunity to get in touch with different cultures, without having to leave the villa. From the first day and until the end of the stay they will have the opportunity to engage in sports activities such as a virtual yoga lesson or a training session in the company of an Olympic champion; prepare tasty dishes inspired by the most diverse cuisines, such as a Turkish brunch, a Moroccan and an Indian dinner; attend private concerts from Iceland and sound baths from Singapore; relax with meditation lulled by the notes of a cello, have fun with a drag queen show and celebrate preparado cocktails.
