Healthy Food to take in this summer

Summer is on and you must be already feeling the heat. Along with the heat, you might have recently noticed some appetite changes. For example, a dislike for fried foods. Indeed, the appetite does change during the summers. This is because not everything is good to consume during the summer season. To keep your body working healthily, you have to shift your diet to a more digestible one.

Here are some of the things that will keep you healthy, fit and rolling during the summers:

  1. Melons: Make melons your best friend this summer. You can add them in juices or shakes or mix them up in salads. They are the fruits of the season for a reason. They will make up for the water deficit in your body. Not only that they are good for other problems as well. Since they are fluids, they prevent flu, common cold and heart diseases as well.
  2. Bottle gourd: did you know what bottle gourd is rich in? It is rich in calcium, folate, vitamin, C, A and magnesium. Now you have so many reasons to take bottle gourd. But the main reason you should take it is because it is easy to digest and keeps you stomach light and happy. It purifies blood and keeps your heart healthy as well.
  3. Corn: maybe grab a steamed corn on your way from the office? Or make it at home when you are too tired to cook? Corn is a great healthy snack for the summer. Together, these will keep you fit and healthy during the summers. You will get your daily dose of dietary fiber with the help of a little bit of eggplant. Eating fibers in summer is good.   7. Raspberries: Raspberries are a good option for you during summers. We know that we all crave a little sugary treat after meals. During summers we are mostly attracted towards the desserts.
