Fashion University and Covid: from virtual open days to online courses
The Italian fashion universities – and beyond – have mobilized, in these months of Coronavirus, to allow young people to continue dreaming of a career in fashion.
To get to know the educational offer of schools up close, you can participate in open days with special occasions to choose where to combine theory and practice, with the plus of the presence in the teaching staff of experts in the sector who are capable of telling the business realities of the supply chain. During this period, the open days were organized in order to get to know the school from home through virtual talks, introductory talks via Zoom, virtual orientation days.
As well as continuing education globally, fashion universities around the world have organized online courses to study fashion, many of which are starting right in this period. This period of Coronavirus has allowed many to reflect on the sense of sustainability and the need to rethink a world like that of fashion with a view to greater attention to the environment. That the lockdown produced by the pandemic could be an opportunity to achieve the target number 4 of the 2030 Agenda?
