Fashion Italia’s new live streaming schedule

The appointment is for May 21st: Fashion Italia and L’Uomo launch the new live streaming project Far Away So Close – Unfolding the Future of Fashion, which sees the participation of the most important protagonists of the world of fashion: not only designers, photographers, stylists and models, but also entrepreneurs, trend forecasters, photographers.

With them, Fashion Italia and L’Uomo will try to answer the many questions that affect the fashion system, both from a creative and an economic point of view. Will there still be fashion shows? Will the calendar change? Will the supply chain find ways to survive? Will retail be able to do without tourism? Will sustainability continue to be a priority?

With the platform Far Away So Close – Unfolding the Future of Fashion, which offers itself as an open place for discussion and exchange, Fashion Italia and L’Uomo will offer this broad debate on fashion their international audience of over 3 million unique users and 7.8 million followers (Total Audience Fashion Italia and L’Uomo Fashion), the largest in the Italian media.

Milan, 21 May 2020 – Ideas, proposals and viewpoints from leading figures in Italian and international fashion: Fashion Italia and the Fashion Man launch the platform Far Away So Close – Unfolding the Future of Fashion.

As the fashion industry – hit hard by the international lockdown imposed to halt the spread of the coronavirus – attempts to get back to work, the sector is beset by countless uncertainties, in both the creative and business spheres. Will fashion shows continue? Will the fashion calendar change? Can the production system find ways of surviving? Can retailers get by without tourism? Will sustainability still be a priority? These are just a few of the questions stakeholders are asking themselves in Italy and around the world.

With the platform Far Away So Close – Unfolding the Future of Fashion, Fashion Italia and Uomo Fashion offer their international stage of more than 3 million unique users and 7.8 million fans and followers (the total audience of Fashion Italia and Uomo Fashion) – the largest of all Italian mediums – to a series of leaders in the sector, as an open forum for debate and exchange. This will be followed at 9pm by a live on Fashion Italia’s Instagram profile with Naomi Campbell who, on the eve of her fiftieth birthday, celebrates a thirty-year career with Fashion Italia. On Friday 22 May at 9pm, the protagonist of a live on Instagram will be Grace Coddington, iconic model and visionary fashion editor.
