Arambol which stretches northern coastline is well known with hippie haven.it was a fishing village earlier but now its travels place. The place is loaded with therapies like yoga, meditation, and reiki. The people staying there enjoy sightseeing along with water sports. Visitors can enjoy nightlife with live music. Arambol lies 32 kilometers from North Goa and from Panaji its 50 kilometers. The Pernem is the nearest railway station.
Apart from its beaches the Goa is famous for its old churches and carnivals. It is well known as a paradise for people who enjoy night life. It can be best described as an adventurous place as there is numerous sports game available in Goa.
The churches of Goa are 450 years old. Church of St. Cajatan and Church of lady or rosary, Basilica of Bom Jesus are few landmarks which compliment the place.
Visiting Goa is incomplete if the tourist has not seen the carnival. Carnival started by the Portuguese is a 3 day carnival in which people enjoy a lot with the loud music on the roads.
Dauna-Paula is a famous monument which depicts the love story of Dauna and Paula and a must visit for all those tourists who have an interest in history.
