The National Testing Agency (NTA) will organise the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) for the year 2024. This test will be organised to check the candidate’s eligibility for Junior Fellowship and Assistant Professor in various Colleges and Universities in India.
The UGC NET examination will occur on 25, 26 & 27 June 2024 at various test centres. Applicants who filled application registration form are waiting to release the CSIR NET Admit Card. The testing agency will provide the admit cards 5 days before the examination. It will be accessible on csirnet.nta.ac.in. Applicants can download and print their admit cards officially.

The NTA organised the CSIR UGC NET Examination twice yearly (June and December). The Computer-Based Test determines the candidate’s eligibility to become a Junior Fellowship, Lectureship/ Assistant Professor. This national-level examination will be conducted at 225 test centres across the country.

The National Testing Agency has declared the exam date, exam pattern and marking scheme on its official website. The agency will conduct the CBT examination for 5 subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test Admit Card – Important Details and Instructions
The admit card contains important details and instructions regarding the candidates and examination. It contains the name, roll number, date of birth, photograph, and signature of the candidates, also, it has the exam date, exam time and exam location details. Along with these details, the admit card has some important points and instructions that the candidates will follow in the examination hall. Check the important points here:
- Carry at least two printouts of the admit card. It is required to take hard copies of the admit card. A soft copy or a digital copy will not be considered.
- Do not carry electronic gadgets into the examination hall, such as digital watches, mobile phones and other equipment.
- Along with the admit card, candidates must have two identity proofs such as an Adhar Card/ PAN Card/ Passport etc.
Steps for downloading the CSIR NET Admit Card 2024
Candidates can use these steps to obtain their “CSIR NET Admit Cards”:
- It is required to visit the NTA’s official website i.e. csirnet.nta.ac.in.
- Look for the “Public Notice” section and find the link to download the “CSIR NET Admit Card 2024”.
- After finding the accurate link, fill in the login credentials properly.
- Now, submit the details. It may take a minute to process.
- The admit card will be generated in a PDF file format.
- Download it and take at least two printouts.
