After the Mumbai-Bangkok cruise, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari announced that the ministry is working on a cruise route. Mumbai To Bali Via Kochi And this andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Shri Gadkari said, “Hundreds of thousands of Indians travel to Bali. They can travel by cruise from Mumbai. This will become a big tourist attraction. One lakh tourists from our country travel to Singapore by cruise. Our effort is to develop cruise tourism here.” Needless to say, this will give a huge boost to India’s negligible cruise tourism.

Speaking about the government’s ambitious seaplane initiative, Shri Gadkari said, “All the rules for seaplanes have been formalized by air traffic control authorities. It will be finalized this month.”
