Colt Johnson’s body has transformation impressed the 90 Day Fiancé fans. Now, Colt is revealing his weight loss journey during an exclusive interview.

Colt Johnson has been on quite a journey since his debut on 90 Day Fiancé, and it’s not just his love life that’s changed. He hasn’t exactly been shy about showing off his body in the past, but now he’s getting kudos from fans who are wowed by his recent weight loss transformation. It certainly isn’t an easy task to drop that much weight, and Colt is proud of how far he’s come. Colt has been a man on a mission, and not even COVID-19 derailed his weight loss journey. 

Colt may have been struggling with his weight, but that didn’t stop him from attracting gorgeous Brazilian women. All the attention from beautiful women may have gone to his head, and Colt cheated and messaged other girls during his two featured relationships. Ever the controversial reality TV star, Colt has gotten criticism from fans not only for his many poor decisions on and off the show, but also for his body. However, Colt’s recent weight loss has shut fans up – at least when it comes to body shaming.

This time, Colt managed to drop pounds by implementing a steady workout regime. During an exclusive interview with Screen Rant, Colt revealed: “I go to the gym now pretty much every day.” It’s been a fairly easy adjustment for Colt as he goes to the gym without a set timeframe and works out until he gets tired. He’s lost weight before, but this time it’s different because it is “the first time I’ve focused on gaining muscle and actually toning and defining my body a little more,” Colt said. Fans were shocked by his weight loss when they started seeing promos for the upcoming spin-off The Single Life. It wasn’t just his new svelte body, but the fact that he managed to lose so much weight while in quarantine. Many people put on weight while in quarantine, but Colt somehow managed to avoid the so-called “quarantine 15.” He said, “COVID made it easier for me. I just had a lot of free time.” Working out from home kickstarted Colt’s weight loss journey, and when businesses began to reopen, he got back into his gym routine.

In a way, transforming his body has helped Colt change his state of mind as well. “I feel like it’s given me a lot more self-confidence and positive feelings and energy,” Colt remarked. It’s one thing to lose weight, but it’s another thing to keep it off, and Colt is optimistic that he can maintain his new, healthier body. “I’m not really on a diet,” he admitted, explaining how in the past he would hop on the latest fad diet, and how he’s now just watching what he eats and getting plenty of exercise. “I feel like if I just stay on that road and work out as much as I can, then I’ll be okay,” Colt said.

Colt’s weight loss is impressive, but did he do it just for his health? Many fans have theorized that Colt might get engaged on The Single Life, meaning that his dramatic weight loss could be for a possible upcoming wedding. Alas, regardless of why Colt did it, the 90 Day Fiancé star’s body transformation is still a great accomplishment. Colt may not do well in relationships, but he’s clearly been doing a great job at the gym. Maybe with his new body and improved self-confidence, Colt will enter his next relationship with a healthier state of mind.
