Clues That Brandon Gibbs May Not Truly Love Julia

Russian 90 Day Fiancé star Julia Trubkina has revealed she may move back to Russia if her season 8 relationship with Brandon Gibbs ever fails.

It’s the season of wedding bells and cold feet on 90 Day Fiancé, and there’s no escaping from it for Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina. Since turning her life around for Brandon and coming to his quaint farm, Julia has been on her best behavior with his parents Betty and Ron as well. But while Brandon’s immaturity was always a red flag for most TLC viewers, he’s being upfront about his disinterest in the upcoming wedding with Julia.

While Brandon and Julia are undoubtedly the couple with the least toxic fights on 90 Day Fiancé, he did show a different side to fans during the church reception. Apart from yawning when Julia picked out her bridal dress, Brandon shockingly forgot the significance of their Mothers’ Day-adjacent wedding date. With the pandemic plotting to cause more troubles in their ceremony, Betty and Ron have started pushing Brandon into taking things seriously. “Time is of the essence,” mentioned Betty as Ron recently asked Brandon was his “game plan.” But the poker-faced 90 Day Fiancé star nonchalantly replied with “a little bit,” as his dad Ron observed that Brandon doesn’t appear to be happy. Could it be that Brandon may have never loved Julia in the first place?

90 Day Fiancé fans were enraged during the now-infamous church scene when a sobbing Julia sat next to Brandon as he told her he cannot be someone he’s not. Julia’s doubts about Betty having planned the wedding were confirmed when Brandon revealed he was doing the church ceremony just for her and that he doesn’t share her “female fantasy of a wedding day.” However, fans have come to think that the reason behind Brandon raining on Julia’s parade is simply him not being in love with her. The first red flag was Brandon spending on expensive vacations and running into a debt of $10,000 while knowing that Julia was going to come and stay with him. Although Brandon had spent the money on Julia, his doing it despite having low savings showed he was selfish or wanted to appear rich.

As Betty worried about the 90 Day Fiancé couple having unprotected sex, Brandon threw Julia under the bus when they faced their pregnancy scare saying she was the one hesitant on using protection. Furthermore, Brandon using words such as, “Julia wants me to do this. I have no choice. She hates it here we need to leave,” also came across as odd for fans who insisted he should be accountable for his own actions as a 27-year-old. His not trying to understand Julia’s issue with the farm, and using her threat to leverage being able to share a room was also deemed as spineless by TLC viewers. And the reason for Brandon explaining that nine was Julia’s favorite number instead of the day he first messaged the 90 Day Fiancé star with, “you look like my future wife,” could be an even bigger hitch.

Some TLC viewers believe that Brandon forgot the meaning behind the wedding date because he could have been sending the same “future wife” message to several girls before managing to impress Julia. While Julia hasn’t broached this subject yet or never will, she does know that the date means nothing to Brandon. The 90 Day Fiancé star has mentioned that Brandon gives her “a new problem every day” with his nonchalance, but will it prompt Julia to go back to Russia? Brandon being nowhere near husband material might just be the silver lining for Julia to escape from a loveless 90 Day Fiancé marriage.
