Chrishell Stause from Selling Sunset used her time during the COVID-19 quarantine to completely revamp her Los Angeles home. Find out how she did it.
Chrishell Stause from Selling Sunset used her time during the COVID-19 quarantine to completely revamp her Los Angeles home. The real estate agent bought this home after her ex-husband, Justin Hartley, decided he no longer wanted to be married. He blindsided her with a text message letting her know he filed for divorce. Chrishell was heartbroken when she found out, as she felt like she was losing her best friend. Now, Chrishell has bounced back and made her new space feel like home.
After a rough divorce at the end of 2019, Chrishell started to succeed in her career. Selling Sunset released two seasons in 2020 and became very popular amongst Netflix users. In September 2020, Chrishell competed on Dancing with the Stars with her partner, Gleb Savchenko. Shortly after she was eliminated from the season, Chrishell revealed she and professional dancer Keo Motsepe began a relationship. After only three months together, they decided to go their separate ways.

In a recent interview with E!, the 39-year-old showed off her newly revamped Los Angeles home. Chrishell even teamed up with Marshalls and T.J. Maxx to help her turn her house into a real home. “I’ve been shopping at their stores for so long, but to use them to completely overhaul my space has just been exactly what I was looking for,” the reality star shared with the publication. “When you actually do it, you’re like, ‘Why didn’t I do this sooner?’ They have so many quality products. Their prices are great and I was able to showcase my personality in my space,” Chrishell added. Now that she will be spending a lot more time in her home, she wants to create a space that’s completely hers.
Even though her costars on Selling Sunset have yet to see her newly decorated home in person, she has shown it to them via FaceTime. So far, they all love what she has done with the place. Her costar Amanza Smith, who is an interior designer, even expressed her delight with how Chrishell designed her home. “I even got Amanza’s approval,” she said, adding, “I thought her approval was very nice because this is what she does.” Chrishell wanted to create a home that was cozy and inviting. She did just that with her deep sectional and floor-to-ceiling blush pink curtains. She even added pops of gold throughout her house to help “elevate the space.”
Chrishell had a rough couple of years after two nasty breakups and claims of an affair. But overall, she has been living her best life. Selling Sunset is one of the top TV shows streamed on Netflix, and it was recently announced they are filming another two seasons. Now that her home is newly revamped, Chrishell is ready to take on the world as a successful TV personality and real estate agent.
