Chanel Beauty: eye and lip makeup like Coco and French women – Fashion.it

A touch of blue in the lipstick to highlight hair and smile. And then a tonic for face and body, a anti age and a hand cream: Chanel Beauty, in its primordial dimension, it was born at the turn of the thirties, for an intuition of Coco. In short, to free women, to mentally free them, it took pants and bijoux, but also skincare is maquillage. And if we thought we knew everything about Mademoiselle, the lockdown to understand that this is not the case and probably never will be. What you find below is the interesting interview I did, in quarantine times, with Silvia Dell’Orto, the make-up artist who represents Chanel Beauty in Italy. A prepared and exuberant woman, a winning mix for those who, like me, learn more easily when having fun. We chatted with her about Coco, lipsticks and nail polishes. Of Lucia Pica, Chanel’s Global Creative Make up and Color Designer, and “French” make-up, but also of make-up secrets and mistakes. Or rather: of make-up secrets to not make mistakes anymore. At the bottom you will find the complete video, as long as a direct on Instagram, but we wanted to divide the interview “by chapters” so as to watch them (and relate to them) according to your needs and interest. Good fun.

Make-up e mask: French makeup

In this first chapter Silvia Dell’Orto reveals the secrets of French-style makeupwhich is the best when wearing the mask. The first rule: forget the Zone T (the portion of the face consisting of the forehead, nose and chin) and focus only on the rest with a flight of make-up. Here all you need to know.

Identikit of the Chanel woman

Always elegant, but with a touch rock’n’roll unexpected. This is the Chanel woman who knows the rules and decides, by her own will, when and how not to follow them. But how it is expressed with makeup. We asked Silvia Dell’Orto who replied so.
