The third issue of the crossover series Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point sees the amnesiac Dark Knight facing off against Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe.
The preview for Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #3 features the Dark Knight going up against Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe. The crossover limited series between Batman and the Fortnite Universe features the DC hero with missing memories taking on various opponents from the popular battle royale game as well as a few other surprise faces. The physical comics even come with codes to allow users access to special skins and in-game items to use when playing Fortnite.
The story of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point is based on a concept by Epic Games Chief Creative Officer Donald Mustard, who is also the series consultant. This limited series is written by Christos Gage with an art team consisting of pencils by Reilly Brown, inks by Nelson Faro DeCastro, and colors by John Kalisz. This issue of the limited series brings in one of the most popular characters from the G.I. Joe franchise, Snake Eyes, who in comic books originally appeared in Marvel Comics and later IDW Publishing.

DC Comics released a preview of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #3 that shows some interior pages of Batman fighting against numerous enemies, culminating in an epic battle with Snake Eyes on the mysterious island on which they’ve both been trapped. They don’t know why they’re on this island or what they’re fighting about, and Batman needs to remember that he has to return to Catwoman and Gotham City. Harley Quinn is also running around the island, which spells trouble for everyone. The third issue goes on sale May 18, 2021, and will be $4.99 for the Mikel Janín main cover and $5.99 for the Jim Lee and Scott Williams card stock variant cover. There will also be a Mustard premium variant cover that you can inquire about at your local comic store for $5.99.
The first issue of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point treated readers to the likes of Harley Quinn, which also inspired a special Harley Quinn skin in the battle royale game. If the reader gets a print copy of the third issue, there is a redeemable bonus code for a Fortnite cosmetic item called Catwoman’s Grappling Claw Pickaxe. Though if you’re itching to get your paws onto it some other way, the item is free if you have a subscription to DC Universe Infinite. But if fans collect each code in all six issues of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point, they will be able to get the Armored Batman Zero Outfit.
It’s really no surprise that DC would team up with Epic Games for this Batman/Fortnite collaboration given the fact that various skins from the comic book universe have been made available in the battle royale game. But it’s a nice surprise that the crossover is bringing in yet another property, G.I. Joe, and Snake Eyes has been announced as an obtainable skin during Fortnite’s fifth season. It will be interesting to see if any more of these surprises pop up throughout the rest of the mini-series (Thanos, anyone?), but for now, Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #3 treats us to Batman going up against the ninjutsu master Snake Eyes.
