After their April 2020 wedding on 90 Day Fiancé season 8, what are Zied Hakimi and Rebecca Parrott up to and has the Tunisian man finally found a job?
Are Zied Hakimi’s hands still reaching for Rebecca Parrott’s wrinkled ones one year after their wedding on 90 Day Fiancé season eight? After two years together, Zied and Rebecca, who met in Tunisia on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days season two, finally got to call each other man and wife. The doubts were aplenty and Zied was full of red flags for not just Rebecca, but also for her friends and family. But despite Zied’s homesickness and forcing Rebecca into a wedding before Ramadan, the 90 Day Fiancé couple walked down the aisle in their COVID-19 wedding. While Zied had his own red flags, 90 Day Fiancé star Rebecca’s 22-year age gap was also a point of concern. The Georgia native Rebecca was married thrice previously, with three grown (and married) kids from her first marriage. When Rebecca met Zied on Facebook in 2018, she was still married to her third Moroccan ex-husband and kept that she was waiting for a divorce hidden from Zied. But even as Rebecca sent him either old or filtered photos, Zied fell “so maach” in love with her, only to show that he, too, was insecure when she reached Tunisia. Zied not having a job was Rebecca and her private investigator friend’s major concern, but the tables turned when she found herself getting jealous over Zied talking to women much younger than her in the USA.
Right when COVID-19 threw a wrench into their plans, Zied announced he couldn’t stay in the same house as Rebecca during Ramadan if they were not married. With not enough finances to put Zied up in a different house, Rebecca gave in to Zied’s demands. Sure, her used wedding dress bought online didn’t fit, but Rebecca didn’t let that stop her Cinderella story. The couple found themselves getting married on April 19, 2020, not in a courthouse, as Zied wanted, but in the resort they toured earlier after they received their wedding license on April 14, 2020. Coming to the question of whether 90 Day Fiancé pair Zied and Rebecca are still together. the answer is a resounding yes.
While respecting her NDA with TLC, Rebecca always mentioned that she was “happily in love” with Zied, as she continued posting content in 2020 from their new apartment in Canton. The restaurant manager has since then dropped several clues saying she’s still married to her fourth husband, from making cute TikToks to wishing Zied a happy birthday on January 11, 2021. Rebecca’s latest update on Instagram from March 28, 2020, is a happy picture of her and Zied from their exposed-brick apartment, asking her 90 Day Fiancé family if they “watched the wedding” and him replying to her in the comments with a row of hearts.
Zied using Rebecca for money and a visa was a question that always did the rounds. Back in Tunisia, Zied worked as a struggling actor, and later acquired a certificate in an HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) course in January 2020. As per Rebecca, the course should help him get an excellent, well-paying job in America. 90 Day Fiancé fans also think Zied finally obtained a work permit after they spotted him posting sponsored swipe-up links on his Instagram. While Zied has not yet revealed if he did land a proper 9-5, he was spotted spending time at Six Flags and a gun range, confirming he’s still in the States. That being said, this 90 Day Fiancé couple is a fan-favorite and might be keeping further details of their “happily ever after” close to their chest in hopes of another spin-off.
