Are Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Married?
Blake Shelton may not have his girlfriend over four years old, Gwen Stefani, by his side this season on The voice, but that doesn’t mean they’re less in love with each other.
In fact, for some time now, rumors have been circulating that the main lady of No Doubt and for a long time Voice the coach is already engaged … and maybe married. Why? Well, to start, Blake said AND that he “likes” rumors.
- Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani started dating in November 2015.
- The country star and No Doubt singer have sparked rumors about being engaged and/or married.
- On Saturday, May 9, the duo will present their first success “Nobody But You” at the Grand Ole Opry.
“These rumors are great,” he said. “Anyone who thinks I’m already married to Gwen, I love it. My God. Who wouldn’t want to be married to Gwen Stefani?”
This non-denial aside however, in another AND interview last summer, he said that their bond is getting “stronger every day” and that it’s pretty much a matter of when they will tie the knot. “Obviously, it has to lead somewhere, but I promise we won’t publish any news in the trash magazines of grocery stores.”
Secretly engaged/married or not, there is no doubt that talented artists already have a love story for books. They first met in 2014 when Gwen joined the panel of The voice. But it wasn’t until the two helped each other overcome their 2015 divorces – Blake’s Miranda Lambert and Gwen’s Gavin Rossdale – that their relationship has become particularly strong.
Blake said Billboard in 2016, after discovering that he was separating from Miranda, Gwen asked the singer “Honey Bee” to speak alone. It was then that she told him that she was going through something similar.
“This is how our friendship and bond started that day. It went from that to being checked once a week by email – ‘It happened to me, what happened to you? ‘ – to maybe three times a week, then every day to: “Hey, here’s my phone number if you want to send an SMS,” said Blake. “The next thing I know, I wake up and she’s anything that matters to me, and I wonder if she feels the same for me. “
He continued, “Gwen saved my life. Who else on earth could understand a high-profile divorce from another musician?”
In November 2015, their friendship had turned into a true love story. Over the next seven months, the two became very open about their relationship, posing together in 2016 Vanity Fair Afterparty of the Oscars and later together at the Billboard Music Awards in May.
Over the years, the couple continued to support each other. They even recorded new music together, including “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” in 2016, “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” in 2018 and, more recently, “Nobody But You” in 2019.
Because the couple are incredibly cute together, it’s no wonder that everyone hopes the two have already walked down the aisle. But in the end, what is most important is that their love is unbreakable – and the rings will not change that.
