Small granules of sugar are excellent for scrubbing your face and leaving it softer than before – just know to remove the sugar off your face and peel of the blackheads.
  2. Apple cider Vinegar shampoo: Did you know that a drop or two of the apple cider vinegar mixed with water leaves your hair fresh? Let’s be fair here – a single bottle will last you for months. This is definitely cheaper than shampoo also it is a lot easier on your hair’s health given the chemicals it has to avoid.
  3. Invest in multipurpose beauty items: use oils and creams that are multipurpose. For example, Vaseline is a great healer and it can be used to moisturize your lips as well as your feet. Try to buy a product that you can use for various purposes. Also, go for a lip color that complements the color of your cheek. So you can tweak it a little to use it as a blush. Kashuk is a great example of one such lip color.
  4. Keep your bottle mouths covered tightly: A lot of us are not even aware how much o the product we are losing every day. We tend to fasten it loosely and then they evaporate a lot quicker. Your creams and liquid foundations, eye liners, etc, have mouths for a reason. Keep them tightly sealed and they will last you much longer.
  5. Cinnamon, the perfect lip plumper: Did you know that a lot of lip colors have cinnamon in them? This is because cinnamon oil naturally plumps up your lips. Also it makes the natural shade appear more prominently. You can get cinnamon oil at very cheap costs in stores.
  6. Did you know you could recycle your old lipstick and compacts? It is true. There are some companies like MAC that will give you a free lipstick, if you give them old lipstick tubes. Also, there’s another company called Stila that makes reusable, eco friendly compacts. The refill costs a whole lot less than buying a new compact every time. The same is available for eye shadows. Now you know where to buy these from.
  7. Go for bulk shopping: Whenever you are buying a shampoo or a conditioner, buy it in bulk. The bulk ones are the most cost efficient. Also we tend to overuse them sometimes. Using shampoo three days a week is more than enough. You can also use baby powder on your scalp to get rid of the excess oil.
  8. Reuse your old lip colors: cut off the stub and put them in the microwave for some time. Then put them back again in a lipstick-like tube. You can also mix two colors in the tube. You have your very own lipstick now.
  9. Clean your pores frugally: Instead of making rounds at the salon, put on strips. They will snug out the dirt from your pores and make your skin feel fresh again. It is much cheaper to buy stripes from the store than going to salons.
